I had high hopes for this hotel, given its promised amenities and picturesque surroundings. While the location on the lagoon is breathtaking and the food was decent, the overall experience fell short primarily due to the service and maintenance issues. It seemed dated, and I was left disappointed, especially with the cleanliness and upkeep. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a more enjoyable stay.
I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. While the location offered a stunning lagoon view and the breakfast buffet was impressive, the service was lacking and cleanliness was an issue. A significant downside was the misleading information regarding the airport shuttle, which led to an unexpected charge during checkout. Overall, it felt like it didn't live up to its potential, making it hard for me to recommend for future stays.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel which is conveniently located near Negombo and only a short drive from Colombo. The lagoon view from our room was stunning, and the spacious accommodations made it enjoyable. While the buffet dining was impressive with a diverse selection, the pool area was quite small and not very private. Overall, it was a good hotel for a quick getaway, but there were a few service inconsistencies that could be improved upon.
The hotel has a wonderful setting on the lagoon, and the rooms provide a beautiful view. However, the experience was tainted by a terrible smell from the lagoon and subpar dining options.
